Open up my heart and slam the door
on all this confusion is there nothing more
to be said, to be sure
life is so hideous?
insidious is this infected cloud
where only supporating thoughts rain down
and slowly bog and drown in moors of lonliness
fraught with despair and bitterness and abhorence
for itself and it's all contagious
All you lepers!
can you see your own uncleanliness?
your life becomes a caveat
for the deaf and blind
to see and hear the emptiness
is what they can't perceive
until it's too late and their heart is open
and the disease slams shut the door...
... but never give up faith...
not as though you have a choice
my friend, were you put here against your will?
You will die here against your will as well.
Happiness is the most beautiful illusion
i've ever failed to see
but her shadow I have witnessed
and I nearly dared to be deceived
until my eyes and ears were opened
and I then dared I would believe
in the shadows of deception's truth?
will I now come to my bitter end
and for myself I'll end bereaved?
Dreams are real as long as they last. Can we say more of life?
