her black eyes see through me
this angel's face illuminates my soul's darkest night
her voice resurrects this sleeping corpse
she is not far away
together we endure the shadows and storms

as the sun re-awakens.. we  take our own directions
..questions remain...
..this weight could crush a mountain
..is it truly better this way
i don't ever want to know
